Apples in the test

Ingredients

For the test

  1. Wheat flour 2.5 cups
  2. Butter or margarine 250 grams
  3. Powdered sugar 2 tablespoons
  4. Vanilla Sugar 2 Tbsp
  5. Baking powder for the test 2 teaspoons
  6. Egg 1 piece
  7. Vanilla curd (cheese) 150 grams

Additionally

  1. 6-8 apples
  2. Sour cream 18% 2 tablespoons
  3. Powdered sugar 1 cup

Inventory:

Rolling pin, baking parchment, knife, board, plate, spoon, whisk, brush.

Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the dough.


All ingredients for making dough should be at room temperature. Sift the flour, make a depression in the center and put all the other components in it. Butter (or margarine) needs to be cut into cubes.

Stir the dough until you get a homogeneous mass. Divide it into two parts.

Step 2: wrap the apples in the dough.


Roll out one part of the dough, place it on a baking sheet covered in parchment or oiled. Peel the apples, cut each in half and remove the seeds. Put the halves on top of the dough.
Sprinkle some fruit with flour.

Roll out the rest of the dough and lay it on top of the halves of apples.

Step 3: bake the apples in the dough.

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and send apples to it in the dough to bake on 35-40 minutes. Until the dough turns ruddy.

Step 4: prepare the icing.


Mix sour cream thoroughly with powdered sugar. Mix until sugar has melted and the icing is smooth.

Step 5: glaze the apples in the dough.

Remove the freshly baked apples in the dough from the oven and cover evenly with icing. Allow to cool to room temperature.

Step 6: serve the apples in the dough.


Cut the finished pie into pieces, separating each half of the apple as a serving. Serve as a dessert, eat with a fork.
