We prepare the dough: we grate the softened butter with sugar, add the eggs, baking powder, vanillin, zest, sour cream and beat with a mixer until smooth and dissolve the sugar.
Gradually add flour and knead a soft dough, while flour may need a little more or a little less.
We divide the dough into two parts, one to the freezer, the second to distribute in shape, make the sides and send to the oven for 15-20 minutes. at a temperature of 180 degrees.
Preparing the filling: pour lemons over boiling water and, together with the skin, but without pits, pass them through a meat grinder.
Cut apples into a large cube.
Add sugar and gelatin to the crushed lemons. Mix.
We take out the basis for the cake from the oven and sprinkle with starch.
Spread apples and lemon mixture on top.
Rub the second part of the dough from the freezer onto the filling.
Return the cake to the oven at a temperature of 170-180 degrees and bake until golden brown for about 45-50 minutes.
You can cut the cake only when it has completely cooled down!
