Ingredients for Cooking Stuffed Cheese Potatoes
- Potato 4 pieces
- Feta Cheese 100 grams
- Onion 1 piece
- Egg 1 piece
- Oil optional
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- Paprika to taste
For the sauce
- Sour cream 100 milliliters
- Paprika to taste
- Dill to taste

Baking tray, parchment for baking, kitchen knife, grater, toothpicks, blender.
Cooking potatoes stuffed with cheese:
Step 1: prepare the potatoes.
Potatoes for cooking need a large size.
Rinse the vegetables well by brushing them over the peel to remove any dirt. Dry the vegetables with paper towels after washing.
Puncture potatoes with toothpicks all over the surface. Punctures should be fairly deep.
Step 2: bake the potatoes.
Cover the baking tray with parchment.
Place potatoes loosely so that the vegetables do not touch each other on their sides.
Bake vegetables in a preheated oven for 40-50 minutesuntil the potato is easily pierced with a knife and fork.
After baking, the vegetables should be cooled.
Step 3: prepare the onion.
In the meantime, bake and cool the potatoes, start cooking the toppings.
First peel the onion and chop it with a blender.
Fry onion chopped in a blender in a frying pan in oil until golden brown.
Step 4: peel the baked potatoes.
When the potato is ready, cut it in half and remove the core, leaving a thick wall at the edges.
Scrubbing the flesh from baked potatoes is very easy with a regular spoon.
Step 5: prepare the filling.
Transfer the flesh of the potato to a separate plate.
Add spices: salt, pepper and paprika. Mash, turning mashed potatoes.
Add the fried onions to the puree and mix well.
Rub feta cheese here.
Beat the chicken egg and pour to the other ingredients for the preparation of the filling.
Mix everything very well, add more spices, if necessary.
Step 6: stuff the potatoes.
For convenience, immediately place the boat of potatoes on a baking tray.
Fill the potatoes with the cheese filling in the previous step. Lay the filling tightly, let it rise by a rammed little pea.
Step 7: bake potatoes stuffed with cheese.
Return the potatoes to the hot oven, but already on 20-30 minutes, or until the filling gets an appetizing golden crust on top.
Step 8: prepare the sauce.
While stuffed potatoes are baked, prepare the sauce. To do this, mix paprika with sour cream.
Add dried or fresh dill.
Mix everything very well together and send until in the refrigerator.
Step 9: serve the potatoes stuffed with cheese.
Serve baked potatoes stuffed with cheese, hot as the main course or appetizer. With sour cream sauce it turns out the most delicious, so be sure to put a bowl with it next to the potatoes.
A very tasty and satisfying treat is obtained. It goes well with vegetable salads and meat dishes.
