Ingredients for Making Tomato Soup with Croutons

For soup

  1. Tomatoes 1 kilogram
  2. Onion (onions with feathers) 1 piece
  3. Garlic 1 clove
  4. Vegetable oil 1 tablespoon
  5. Salt 1 teaspoon
  6. Water or broth 400 milliliters
  7. Basil to taste
  8. Oregano to taste
  9. Sugar 1/2 teaspoon

For toast

  1. Ciabatta 4-5 slices
  2. Olive oil 2-3 tablespoons
  3. Mozzarella 100 grams
  4. Basil to taste

Step 1: chop the vegetables.

Rinse vegetables and fresh herbs. Then chop the tomatoes and onions into large pieces, and pick the fresh oregano and basil with your hands.

Step 2: bake vegetables.

Put the slices of bread in the preheated oven on 7-10 minutesuntil the cheese melts.
Ready croutons can be cut into cubes or left like that.

Step 5: serve tomato soup with croutons.

Pour the tomato soup into plates and place it on top of the croutons. You can serve soup with cold sour cream or natural yogurt. A delicious summer meal for lunch for the whole family.
