Chicken skewers

Ingredients for the preparation of chicken skewers

  1. Chicken breast (without skin and bones) 1 piece
  2. Natural yogurt 5 tablespoons
  3. Sweet ketchup 1 tablespoon
  4. Salt to taste
  5. Pepper to taste
  6. Paprika 1 teaspoon
  7. Granulated garlic 1 teaspoon
  8. Garam Masala 1 teaspoon
  9. Oregano 1 teaspoon
  10. Lemon juice 3-4 tablespoons
  11. Olive oil 2-3 tablespoons

Inventory:

Grill, wooden skewers, kitchen knife, plate, cutting board.

Cooking:

Step 1: prepare the marinade.


Combine yogurt, ketchup, olive oil and lemon juice. Beat everything with a fork to make a homogeneous mass, and then add salt, pepper, paprika, granulated garlic, garam masala and oregano to it. Mix.

Step 2: pickle the chicken.


Rinse the chicken with cold water and towel dry. Cut the fillet into large cubes and dip in the marinade. Mix well so that the yogurt with spices covers the meat on all sides.
Cover or cling film and leave to marinate at least on 1-2 hours. You can keep the chicken like that overnight, but this is superfluous, in my opinion.

Step 3: fry the chicken fillet skewers.


Soak wooden skewers in cool water in advance (leave them there for 1-2 hours), and then plant marinated chicken fillet on them.
Put the skewers on the heated grill.

Fry the chicken until golden brown on all sides, turning from time to time and making sure that the heat is not too strong.

Step 4: serve the chicken skewers.


Serve chicken fillet with sauce and a salad of fresh vegetables. The meat is just amazing! Spices give it an interesting taste and aroma, and the marinade softens the chicken so that the fillet comes out juicy and tender.
