Ingredients for Cooking Chicken Legs with Garlic

  1. Chicken legs 2 pieces
  2. 2 cloves of garlic
  3. Rosemary twig (optional)
  4. Butter optional
  5. Salt to taste
  6. Pepper to taste
  7. Olive oil optional

Step 1: prepare the ingredients.

Rinse chicken legs, dry and slightly cut the skin, so that it is more convenient to put spices under it.
Peel and chop the garlic cloves into thin, but large slices.
Rinse and dry the rosemary.
Butter should only be from the refrigerator, not soft.

Step 2: stuff the chicken legs with garlic.

Place slices of butter, garlic cloves and rosemary under the skin of the legs. You can put it all not only under the skin, but make cuts, it already depends on your desire.
Salt the chicken on top and pepper to taste, just adding a little salt under the skin.

Step 3: bake the chicken legs with garlic.

Smear the baking dish with olive oil, put the legs stuffed with garlic on top, put the remaining garlic and rosemary on top and add another butter, a couple of pieces.
Cover everything on top with foil and place in a preheated oven on 40-45 minutes.
A few minutes before being ready, remove the foil so that the chicken legs are covered with a golden brown on top. If desired, you can not do this, cooking under the foil all the time.

Step 4: Serve the chicken legs with garlic.

Serve the chicken legs hot, rice or pasta is suitable as a side dish, but I propose to whip up a salad of fresh vegetables (cucumber, pepper, tomato and red onion) and boiled potatoes, season them with butter and serve. Very tasty and fresh in spring. Great lunch or dinner for the whole family!

Recipe Tips:

- According to the same recipe, you can cook shins and / or hips. Only the baking time will decrease slightly, depending on the size of the pieces.

- You can remove the skin from the legs. Then, to make the meat fragrant, make cuts and insert garlic and rosemary in them, and simply put the butter on top.
